In this mentorship, you’ll be guided through the full creative approach to environment and asset creation for games by seasoned Principal Environment Artist, Jonathan Benainous. This program brings practical, real-world insight and feedback grounded in AAA production standards to help you level up your work and build confidence in your environment art creation skills. Over the course of your program, you’ll work with your mentor to craft a tailored roadmap for your project and any broader career aspirations you have, then week after week, you’ll transform your project into a high-quality portfolio piece through your mentor’s hands-on guidance, feedback, and insights.

Mentorship Overview

- Mentee Showcase – Your final project will be featured on the Vessel Forge website, ArtStation and social media accounts
- Mentee Showcase Blog – You’ll have an opportunity to collaborate with us to write a blog breakdown of the project you complete during your mentorship
- Post-Mentorship Support – Receive access to our exclusive community Discord, where you can connect with other mentors and mentees, ask questions, get feedback and more.
- Recommended Skill Level – Intermediate to Advanced
- Prerequisites – Solid understanding of modeling fundamentals, Unreal Engine 5, and ZBrush
Choosing Your Program
For this mentorship, you can choose from our four-session Gold program or eight-session Diamond program.
We generally recommend our Diamond program for complex, highly detailed projects that require more time, guidance, and meticulous work. Our Gold program is best suited for smaller, less-complex projects that can be completed on a shorter timeline.

APPLICATION and Purchase Process
In order to purchase a mentorship, we require that you first complete an application process. If you are approved, we’ll send you a confirmation email with a code which you can then use to book and pay for your mentorship at the top of this page.
